Happy Birthday Dive Dee

Posted: November 04, 2017

Dive Club Member Dee Myers celebrated her significant Birthday (we won't tell) by using her free Birthday Dive. All Club Members get a free Birthday Dive. Happy Birthday Dee! We're so glad we were part of your celebrations. Conditions for our Morning Dive were "sporty" at Corsair. Visibility was around 70' and we had a little current to make things interesting. How much current? Enough that during the safety stop we looked like a human flag, each diver holding on and waving in the snappy breeze. Sporty. Our second dive was relatively serene at Turtle Canyons. We enjoyed working our way across the fingers of the reef accompanied by the usual beautiful reef fish and occasional turtle, and then back past the boat to a final finger where we hung out with some sleeping beauties. It was the Turtle Hotel.

Two new dive club members joined us for their first club dive. Don Kramer, an Instructor from New York is on island through April on a work contract. Way to escape winter in New York Don. Great plan. New Oahu resident Trevor Howard enjoyed his first Hawaii Dive since his October arrival. We're looking forward to helping you with your Rescue Class and beyond. Thanks for joining our Dive Club Guys.

Theresa Neighbors joined us from Orange County. Be sure to thank your dive buddies who recommended Aaron's to you Theresa. It was a blast diving with you and look forward to seeing you again. If your conference becomes less that inspiring you know who to call for inspiration.

It was a very full boat today with Sam Alvarez and Evan Strouse working on their Advanced Open Water Certification and Judy Meredith working on her wreck diving cert as she works towards becoming a PADI Master Diver. Rusty Taillon. Shane Hutchins, and Tyler McDonald rounded out the passenger manifest. Jake Shroyer and Ed McNeill worked as crew. It was a great morning of diving. Thank you everyone for coming out.
