Who: Aaron’s Dive Shop is proud to continue to partner with Hawaii Marine Animal Response to facilitate this clean up for the community.
Scuba divers and freedivers! ‘Beach-combers’ are welcome – there is plenty of debris in the park and rocks – however the majority of the clean up will be ocean focused.
What: This is a dive clean up! Scuba divers and freedivers will use sheers and mesh bags to collect ocean debris. The main focus is entanglement hazards – aka fishing line, hooks, rope, etc.
When: Saturday, November 26th from 8AM-11AM
Where: Kaka’ako Beach Park
Why: To work together as a diving/freediving community to provide relief for the reef that is plagued with fishing debris. To rid the ocean of entanglement hazards for marine animals.
***Scuba divers MUST be certified divers.
***All divers MUST provide their own gear
Aaron’s Dive Shop and Hawaii Marine Animal Response are not liable for your independent diving actions.
