FEBRUARY SPECIAL DIVES

At Aaron’s, we like to keep things interesting, especially for our local divers. To do that, we frequently offer special dive charters. These charters go to different dive sites than our everyday boat charters. 

This month they are:

Double Deep! Keanu Reef & New Barge

Description: Double the depth – double the excitement!
Keanu’s Reef is a broad plain of flat rock sheets that sits at about 65-75 ft. New Barge sits at 85-95 ft. Previously a utility barge of the US Navy, it was scuttled in 1998. Resting upright and intact, this 100’ long barge has numerous internal baffles and multiple access holes to allow divers to penetrate into the wreck.

Date: Sunday February 7th
Time: be at the boat by 7:00AM
Location Honey – Maunalua Bay

*CLUB DIVE * LET’S GO DRIFTING
China Walls is a fun dive is open to all certified divers. If you like you could earn your Drift Certification on this dive. Come and get acquainted with a part of the reef most people never see. Drifting is a blast. It’s restful letting the current carry you along. All Divers must have an SMB and Reel for this dive.

Navy Tug & Pinnacles

Island Favorites! Pinnacles is a 90ft deep reef along a fish nursery with large reef pinnacles rising to form overhangs full of mystery. Nashua Tug boat sits at about 65ft and is a sunken tug boat that is used as an active Naval training site today. Both sites have been known to see lots of sea life action!

Date: February 27th
Time: Be at boat by 6:00AM
Location: Ruckus – Kewalo Harbor
Dive Site: Pinnacles & Nashua Tug (aka Navy Tug)
