PADI FREEDIVING CENTER

Aaron's Dive Shop is now officially a PADI Freediving Center in Oahu, Hawaii!

We are excited to offer the BEST in freediving - classes AND gear!

Why get a freediving Certification?
There are 3 primary focuses for the 2 day PADI Level 1 Freediving Course:
1)Apnea – AKA breath hold. You will practice your Static Apnea (AKA breath hold without moving) in the pool day 1 and your Dynamic Apnea (AKA breath hold while moving) in the ocean day 2.
2)Learn how to prevent LMC (AKA disorientation on the surface) & Shallow Water Blackout – the 2 most common injuries for freedivers.
3) How to rescue/respond to someone who has experienced LMC & Shallow Water Blackout.
Overall, the course will give you the skill set you need to take your freediving to the next level safely – whether that next level is 10 meters or 30 meters – as well as how to be a good freediving buddy.

Aaron’s offers gear from a variety of freediving retailers like: Leaderfins, BESTdive, Omer, Hammerhead, Apnea!

There's nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean itself, except that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you've been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent.

  1. Aloha
    ,
I’m a freediver in Korea (Aida Level 3)
I want to do a freediving tour in Hawaii this time.

I am in Hawaii 7/29-8/5. (In oahu)
I think the time I can dive in a week period will be 7/29 or 8/3 (there is no detailed schedule yet).

    I don’t have a buddy, I’m alone, but I hope it’s a group tour.
I want to dive with many people.
If there is a program, I would like to know the dive time and price.
I want to meet sea creatures and take pictures of diving in the beautiful Hawaiian sea.
    I would like an answer.

    Thank you 🙂

    1. Aloha! We would be happy to accommodate you. We offer to dive charters daily: 7AM deep/shallow dive – the first dive ranges from 107-80ft depending on the dive site (usually a wreck) and the second shallow reef dive ranges from 45-30ft AND 10:30AM shallow/shallow dive – both shallow reef sites ranges from 45-30ft. As a freediver, we will pair you with a dive instructor. Because you will have a private instructor, the price is $200. Email us at info@aaronsdiveshop.com to schedule!
